The module is designed and accredited by Highfield at Level 3.  It is designed for people within the work environment, who are aspiring to a team leader/manager role and, existing managers who are tasked with leading and managing a team.

Aim

To introduce learners to fundamental leadership and decision-making concepts that they can interpret and apply within their own work contexts.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course learners will be able to distinguish between leadership and management and articulate how they interact within the workplace, choose appropriate strategies to solve problems and use decision making models to justify actions and reflect on own skills as a leader and construct action plans for development.
